Key ResponsibilitiesStrategy, Innovation & Scaling Operations

• Help define and scale a novel carbon removal product from early traction to a key player in agriculture and mining. This leadership role requires bold strategy, deep market insight, and relentless execution.
• Lead the design and execution of ERW deployment operations across Brazil, ensuring scalability.
• Translate climate and carbon goals into operational strategies and regional delivery models.
• Drive continuous improvement through KPIs, systemization, and data analysis.

Agricultural & Supply Chain Leadership

• Develop go-to-market strategies to introduce mineral products into established agricultural systems, building trust and partnerships for national adoption.
• Build strategic partnerships with input suppliers, logistics providers, agricultural service firms, and regional stakeholders.
• Oversee sourcing, logistics, and deployment of rock powder from mine to farm.
• Ensure operational excellence and compliance with standards and regulations.

Science-Driven Operations & Technology Alignment

• Collaborate with Science, Carbon, and Technology teams to integrate R&D, field trials, and data flows.
• Bridge science and market to ensure product success in real-world conditions, with feedback shaping product evolution.
• Support legal teams to maintain integrity in carbon reporting and environmental impact.

Team & Culture Building

• Build a leadership culture that is entrepreneurial, fast, and accountable, turning high performers into impactful owners.
• Lead, mentor, and grow high-performing operations teams in Brazil and globally.
• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and impact-driven execution.
• Empower regional managers and technical leads to deliver quality projects at scale.

Core Skills & Experience

• 10+ years in senior leadership in operations, supply chain, or agribusiness in Brazil, especially in high-growth or startup environments.
• Experience scaling ventures from early stages to market success, ideally as a founder, GM, or CEO.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and build scalable systems.
• Strong communication skills in Portuguese and English.

Start Date: Ideally Q3/4 2025

We seek a strategic, commercial, hands-on COO to lead our go-to-market strategy for mineral-based carbon removal in agriculture and mining. You will oversee the entire value chain, from inputs to operations to science and technology, driving scale and impact.
This role involves refining product-market fit, leading deployment, and ensuring scientific and operational integrity, working closely with senior leaders. You will report to the CEO and lead a growing team including the Head of Operations, regional managers, and cross-functional partners.
You will align science, fieldwork, and operations to stay ahead in the climate and carbon removal landscape.
