We are now looking for a Global Inventory Lead to join our Well Services team in Stavanger.
Strong educational background with minimum a bachelor's degree in relevant discipline area or documented extensive experience in the field
Minimum 7 years relevant business experience
The ability to work independent and in close cooperation across departments
Strong knowledge of ERP systems (strong experience with IFS is a benefit)
Strong interest business improvement and to develop efficient systems that supports and improves operational efficiency
Strong analytical skills related to efficient Inventory Management and cost of Inventory
Good communications skills and understanding of operating in international business environment
Proven relationship management skills and ability to build business partnerships across cultures
Good written and verbal English skills
Experience within Inventory Management from system to physical storage. Experience within Material Management and LEAN is a plus
Must be accurate and detailed oriented
Must have an interest in Material Management and Material control
**Your duties as Global Inventory Lead will consist of**:
Support and ensure alignment with Odfjell Technology's strategic objectives
A leading role in developing new routines, procedures and systems to improve Material Management in Well Services
Develop a global roll out plan for the new routines incl. training and support to ensure compliance across all locations
Support key internal stakeholders across the business to ensure operational success
Identify opportunities for operational excellence and cost saving
Project management according to set ambitions and roadmaps
This roles involves comprehensive management of spare parts data within our ERP (IFS) system, which includes several key responsibilities:
Maintaining ERP Master data for Spare Parts
- ABC classification and Activating Cycle Count
- Constructing Bill of Material for our asset fleet
- Design and implement new routines globally: Introducing new work practices across the organization, which may involve training, process standardization and change management.
