We operate across our brands Highbet, Betjara, and Affiliate Park, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment where people can thrive professionally and personally.We are currently looking for a Senior Accountant to join our finance team and support Highbet’s financial operations.**Responsibilities**:- Handling general day to day bookkeeping leading to Management Accounts on a monthly/Quarterly and annual basis.- General reporting and presentations.- Manage client accounting including, accounts payable and accounts receivable.- Handle both internal and external auditors, liaising with the respective audit teams and be able to challenge disclosures.- Ensure effective internal controls and suggest improvements where necessary.- Manage cash flow and working capital requirements effectively to optimize financial resources.- Preparation of the company budgets/forecasts and report variances between the actual performance and pre established budgets.- Compiling and submitting VAT Returns, and recapitulative statements.- Monitoring and assisting in chasing debtors and regular liaising with the legal team for any action to be taken.- Payroll management, and submission of the various FS5, FS7’s and FS3.- Continuously drive improvements in systems and procedures**About You**- Qualified as an accountant or in the final stages of completing an accountancy qualification, obtained in Malta.- A minimum of 2 years of previous accounting experience in Malta is required.- Solid knowledge of financial and accounting regulations and procedures.- Advanced knowledge of Excel.- Well organised, flexible and a team worker.- Accuracy and good attention to detail.- Being proactive and able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.- Willingness to take initiative and demonstrate strong problem-solving skills.- Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively.- Excellent command of English.**What We Offer**- Flexible working environment- Health insurance- Supportive and collaborative team culture- Career growth opportunities- Modern, spacious, and bright office- On-site gym to support your well-being
