Manager, Data Center Customer Operations Join Equinix as a Manager of Data Center Customer Operations. In this role you will lead a team that maintains and evolves critical infrastructure, ensuring high availability and excellent service for our data center customers worldwide. Job Summary Receives objective based assignments and determines resources to meet schedules and goals. Provides guidance to subordinates within the latitude of established company policies. Recommends changes to policies and establishes procedures that affect the section or multiple disciplines. Decisions impact others in the immediate team and influences methods and techniques. Executes financials, business planning, organizational priorities and workforce. Responsibilities Leadership – Assigns, instructs, and manages the team; plans core duties; mentors team members; identifies and resolves issues; manages project team. Systems Support – Troubleshoots fault resolution; summarizes findings and produces incident reports; mentors team on authoring reports. Installation – Understands and applies customer cabling requirements; manages site surveys; provides cost estimates; manages testing of cables before handing to customer. Vendor Management – Manages, briefs, and instructs vendors for installation, testing, and labeling. Maintenance – Manages preventive maintenance to data center equipment to prevent faults from occurring. Project Management – Manages multiple projects and designates work to team; monitors project budget, scope, and progress. Technical Expertise – Extensive knowledge in network and equipment platforms, systems, and circuits; assists in implementing new procedures. Qualifications Fluent English required. Bachelor’s degree required. Previous experience as a Team Leader. Solid previous experience with mission critical environment / Data Center.
