Infrastructure Automation Role The Cloud and Compute engineering organisation seeks a highly skilled individual to lead the adoption of automation in our public and hybrid cloud computing environment. Develop and enforce security standards for operating systems using configuration management tools. Leverage REST APIs to develop Zero touch provisioning, patching, change and decommissioning of Hybrid Cloud resources. Collaborate with application teams to explore innovative technologies in public cloud computing environments. Design infrastructure provisioning workflows leveraging continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines (CI/CD) running on Jenkins and other CI CD tools. Review processes and identify opportunities for automation, building common frameworks that promote adoption across all layers. Key Responsibilities: Develop and Implement Security Standards: Develop and enforce CIS security standards for Windows and Linux operating systems. Design Infrastructure Workflows: Build Hybrid Cloud infrastructure provisioning workflows leveraging CI/CD pipelines. Collaborate with Teams: Partner with Kenvue application teams for proof of technology in public cloud computing environments. Identify Automation Opportunities: Review current processes and find opportunities for automation, building common frameworks in agile manner. Required Skills and Qualifications: Strong understanding of automation principles and practices. Proficiency in Python programming language and experience with REST APIs. Knowledge of configuration management tools such as Chef. Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Jenkins. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
