**ADP Labs** located in Porto Alegre, Brazil, provides software development and infrastructure for world-wide ADP products, working with large-scale initiatives across multiple geographies, including Brazil, the United States, and India. As an internationally distributed software development team, we are hiring a GenAI Developer for the ADP SBS team.
**WHAT YOU'LL DO**:
**Here's what you can expect on a typical day**:
- We'll start each day with a scrum, working together to understand responsibilities, ID any issues, and communicate coding priorities.
- Working in two-week sprints, you must keep up with timelines and good coding standards. Your primary responsibility is to deliver features on time.
- We don't code in a silo. You'll talk to everyone from the project manager to Quality Assurance and current customers to understand requirements and create a collaborative output.
- We're always learning new codes and investigating open-source communities. Knowing what questions to ask is more important than knowing the right answers.
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACTIVITIES**
- Developing high-quality code and software architecture for AI/GenAI projects using various languages, frameworks, and tools.
- Researching and implementing state-of-the-art AI/GenAI techniques and algorithms to solve complex problems and generate novel content.
- Collaborating with other developers, researchers, and stakeholders to understand the requirements, design the solutions, and deliver the results.
- Troubleshooting, debugging, and optimizing the performance, scalability, and reliability of AI/GenAI systems.
- Documenting and presenting the work progress, results, and challenges to internal and external audiences.
**TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE**:
- Strong software development background and AI/GenAI development experience.
- A bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages, such as Python, Java, C#, etc.
- Experience in using one or more AI frameworks and libraries, such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, etc.
- Experience in working with various data sources and formats, such as text, image, audio, video, etc.
- Knowledge of the latest trends and developments in AI/GenAI research and industry.
- Excellent communication (English is a must), collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- A strong passion for learning new skills and technologies.
