DescriptionAWS is seeking a Startup Operations Leader to lead the LATAM (Latin America) startup operations team. Responsibilities include continuously evolving forecasting models, analyzing historic results, and making business recommendations to senior management based on those analyses – all in an environment of rapid growth and increasing complexity. The role will work with Startup Sales leadership to develop, implement and manage the business processes, systems, reports and strategies that optimize business functions to meet organizational goals and initiatives. The LATAM Startup Operations Leader will act as a trusted advisor to the LATAM Startup Sales leaders, leveraging data and analysis to scale the business and drive improvements to reporting tools, methods and processes. This position will also manage the administration and execution of revenue and non-revenue targets, measure goal attainment, and propose enhancements to increase effectiveness in driving desired results. It will manage the rhythm of business activities such as Weekly Business Reviews, Monthly Business Reviews, Quarterly Business Reviews and other cadence reporting and metrics. Key ResponsibilitiesKey job responsibilities include building and managing a high-performing team of operations professionals. The candidate must be able to roll up sleeves, work directly with models/data, and demonstrate passion, detail orientation, analytical and problem-solving abilities. They will use large data sets and technical tools, possess excellent communication, customer‑relationship skills, strong analytical insights, and advocate for internal stakeholders. Active collaboration with leadership in AWS Sales, Solutions Architect, Business Development, Finance, Marketing, Recruiting, Compensation and other Operations teams will be crucial to effective execution. They will drive towards scalable solutions, have excellent project‑management skills, and communicate complex analytical results clearly. Basic QualificationsBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field Experience developing and implementing systems/tools utilized for CRM, variable compensation, revenue reporting, forecasting, Salesforce automation, etc. Experience using Salesforce or other CRM tool Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications Leadership experience in sales operations, sales strategy, finance, business development or related fields Preferred QualificationsExperience working within a high‑growth, technology company Master's degree or equivalent Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
