Role overview Rebag has had its office in Tokyo since 2017 (REBAG JAPAN G.K.), and is looking for a full-time Operations Associate. This is a phenomenal opportunity to join a very fast-growing startup in its early stages and to write the future of collaborative luxury. Reports remotely directly to the Japan Operations Manager and works with members of the Operations/Buying/Bizdev team in Japan and the US. Responsibilities Preparing and filing forms and other documents. Updating logs and order forms. Analyzing all operations and forwarding suggestions for improvement to the Manager. Taking care of overall office needs (handling phone calls from vendors/partners, purchasing office supplies, communication with providers, coordination of office repairs, documents handling, etc.). Scheduling meetings and team-building sessions as required. Providing support to the Operations manager and team members as needed. Communicating with logistics partners and resolving shipment issues; providing all pertinent shipping information needed to logistics. Creating shipping lists with all necessary information and sending them to logistics before merchandise arrives at the warehouse. Daily update and monitoring of all shipping from Japan in the inventory system (updating each order with shipping schedule and tracking information). Communicating with NY Head Quarter (inquiries related to shipments from Japan; coordination with HQ operations and buying teams). What We Expect You to Bring To The Table Must be living in Latin America Must be bilingual with fluency in English and Japanese (written and verbal). Hands-on attitude; hard-working; able to work in a fast-paced environment. Positive, high energy, team-oriented, collaborative mindset. Detail-oriented and accurate (data entry, data processing, reporting, analytical skills). Critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Excellent organizational and communication skills. Knowledgeable and efficient in MS Office (especially Excel). Previous experience in retail & logistics (WMS) is ideal. Availability to work across different time zones.
