Umbraco Expert Position

We are looking for a part-time Umbraco Expert to join our team. The project involves the development and maintenance of a main corporate website, which has a key communication function to investors, analysts, financial media, and the public.

The ideal candidate will not only know Umbraco but also be able to share that knowledge - training the team, suggesting best practices, supporting technical decisions and completing small tasks.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide consultation, training, and transferring technical knowledge on Umbraco
  • Act as a technical advisor in planning platform development and architecture evolution
  • Participate in sprint planning, risk estimation, and CMS development
  • Support the team with Umbraco tasks - templates, content models, components
  • Assist in selecting the best technical solutions (taking into account maintenance costs and scalability)
  • Collaborate with SEO and marketing teams on content accessibility and optimization
  • Document best practices and CMS structure in Confluence
  • Monitor changes in Umbraco versions and recommend actions related to updates and technical risks

Requirements:

  • Very good knowledge of Umbraco CMS and at least 5 years of experience as a developer, architect or consultant
  • Previous work with .NET, HTML/CSS/JS technologies
  • Ability to explain complex technical issues in an accessible way — knowledge sharing orientation
  • Experience in corporate projects, especially related to regulated content or image-intensive sites
  • Ability to collaborate with non-technical and technical teams
  • Familiarity with Jira and Confluence
  • Good knowledge of English (communicative level min. B2)
  • Part-time availability from 9am-5pm — hours to be determined flexibly
