Product Marketing Manager, Latin America As a member of our Product Marketing group, you’ll represent the customer throughout a product’s journey from concept through development and launch. You’ll develop and apply insights to help infuse innovative features into our product-development process. Together with our team, you’ll work to craft groundbreaking ideas into tangible products that excite the world.At Apple, we combine product management/development and product marketing responsibilities into a single, cross functional Product Management role that collaborates with marketing communications, public relations, market research, sales, finance, legal, and support for maximum impact across the organization.The Product Marketing Manager will own and drive the product centric marketing strategy for their respective product line of business. A critical function of this role is to be the spokesperson for their product in market.You will be part of a team of product experts who champion products within their respective markets and seek innovative ways to keep our products at the heart of the customer conversation. Description Drives regional product launches with excellence in direct collaboration with Worldwide Product Marketing.Provides product leadership from introduction through end-of-life to both the marketing and sales organizations. Briefs local teams on new product features, positioning, and any local feature gaps/availability delays.Acts as liaison between Brazil and WW Product Marketing for local business needs and local market feature requirements. Articulates issues and makes clear recommendations.Collects and proactively shares local market insights including market share, consumer trends and key business drivers.Defines, develops, and drives outbound marketing initiatives that enhance customer experience and make a meaningful difference to the business.Plays a critical role with respect to the development of the annual marketing & business plans, providing valuable input and outlining opportunities and actions that lead to growth and category leadership.Analyzes weekly and quarterly business performance. Supervises, analyzes, and summarizes key developments in related to market and competitive landscapes.Creates and delivers formal presentations and leads group discussions on products for a broad range of Apple audiences.Be the guardian of product messaging & positioning across every customer touch point, advancing the pursuit for excellence.Provides support to local PR team for press briefings, analyst discussions, and influencers, helping to address technical requests/questions, as required.Gathers local customer, developer, and partner requirements to help inform future product development.Possesses expert knowledge of competitive and 3rd-party products and strategies. Optimally communicates and positions Apple’s product in relation to other products and the competition.Closely follows emerging technology, consumer, and societal trends, and makes recommendations for how products will be used or fit into those emerging trends. Minimum Qualifications 7+ years of experience in product marketing, preferred but not limited to technology, consumer electronics, hardware, and/or software industries. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience. Proficiency in English and Portuguese. Ability to travel up to 25% domestic and internationally. Preferred Qualifications Detailed knowledge of Apple ecosystem and technology industry in Brazil and across Latin America. Experience and ability to synthesize technologies into product communication as well as translating features into consumer benefits for broad audience including customers, media, analysts, and leading industry specialists. Press and media experience with success as a product spokesperson on a national or regional level. Strong attention to detail and ability to simplify, communicate effectively and align partners against a complex, dynamic market context. Strong ability to lead through influence, debate and storytelling. Excellent analytical skills, with expertise for planning and strategy creation. Leverages knowledge of business drivers, strategies and tactics play out in the market to guide action. Builds partnerships and works collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives. Outstanding oral and written communication skills. A self-starter who is dedicated and demonstrates creative and critical thinking abilities.
