About the Position We are looking for a highly skilled Backend Developer to join our team. This role is ideal for an experienced developer who excels in C#/.NET and has a strong focus on writing maintainable, scalable, and secure code. This is a 100% remote, full-time opportunity. What You Will Do Develop and Maintain Applications: Build, enhance, and maintain secure, scalable backend services using C#/.NET and integrate with APIs. Shape System Architecture: Contribute to system design, ensuring performance, scalability, and security across FinTech applications. Write Quality Code: Implement and test maintainable, well-documented code, with a focus on automation and software best practices. Support Production Systems: Monitor and troubleshoot production applications to ensure high availability and quick issue resolution. Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with front-end, QA, product, and IT teams, while mentoring junior developers. Requirements Strong Technical Expertise: Solid foundation in design patterns, software development best practices, and principles like SOLID and Clean Code. Proficiency in C#/.NET, ASP.NET MVC/WebAPI, and Object-Relational Mappers (ORMs). Strong understanding of database design and optimization. Familiarity with asynchronous microservices architecture and distributed systems. Experience with modern technologies such as Node.js and React. Commitment to Software Quality: Hands-on experience with unit testing, mocking, integration testing, and ensuring code coverage. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines. Proficient in version control systems, especially Git. Experience and Education: 6+ years of back-end software development experience. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field. Collaboration and Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work effectively with team members and stakeholders.
