Job Description As a Full/Senior Product Manager – Software, you will be part of the Product & Technology ( P&T ) group, driving key product initiatives across Toradex’s software portfolio — from embedded Linux to cloud-based tools and services. You will co-own product areas with the PM Software Team end-to-end, from ideation to delivery, ensuring they align with the broader product vision and strategy defined by the company. You will collaborate closely with engineering, marketing, and customer-facing teams to define priorities, shape product roadmaps, and deliver impactful solutions to our customers. While reporting to the PM Team Lead, you will play a leadership role within the team by influencing direction and fostering cross-functional alignment. This position is ideal for someone who thrives on ownership, strategic thinking, and hands‑on execution within a highly technical and collaborative environment. This role involves prioritizing and executing multiple initiatives in parallel, highlighting your independence and ability to drive several product areas simultaneously. Own and drive one or more product areas or initiatives end-to-end, from discovery to delivery. Engage with customers and internal stakeholders to validate product direction and gather feedback. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define product vision, strategy, and success metrics. Translate customer and business needs into clear, actionable product requirements. Prioritize initiatives and maintain product roadmaps aligned with company strategy. Work closely with engineering teams to ensure timely, high‑quality releases. Define, track, and analyze key product indicators to inform future decisions. Contribute to the continuous improvement of product management processes and tools. Represent the product internally and externally, effectively communicating vision and progress. Desired Candidate Profile Mandatory: Strong ownership mindset with a record of driving initiatives independently. Excellent communication and collaboration skills across technical and non‑technical teams. Solid understanding of software development lifecycles, Agile, and product management methodologies. Proven experience as a Product Manager or similar role (3–5+ years preferred). An analytical and data‑driven approach to decision‑making. Ability to translate complex technical concepts into customer value. Nice to have: Experience with embedded Linux, DevOps, or IoT platforms. Familiarity with Software as a Service (SaaS) business models. Understanding of cloud infrastructure, OTA updates, and device management. Experience with developer tools, issue tracking (e.g., Jira), and analytics platforms. Prior experience collaborating closely with engineering teams on technical products. Willing to learn: Deep technical aspects of Toradex software stack, including TorizonCore, Torizon Cloud, and related tooling. Scaling product processes in a globally distributed organization.
