An opportunity for a Functional Application Specialist in SAP BW (Business Warehouse)

  • We are looking for a SAP BW (SAP Business Warehouse) professional who will be part of the IM Services support team. Does that sound like you?
About the job

A SAP BW Application Specialist will be part of a global team supporting the company in SAP BW area of expertise.

As a key member of the IM Services Functional Application support team, you will work together with the rest of the team on driving business continuity, IT professionalism, and user/business satisfaction.

In your future role as SAP BW Specialist you will:
  • Manage incident resolution to keep systems operations and maintain uptime.
  • Oversee application performance and ensure integrity of the production environment.
  • Maintain applications in accordance with SLA standards and business needs.
  • Execute and support enhancements and changes in collaboration with key users and stakeholders.
  • Function as the 1st escalation point for vendors and users, managing incident registration, monitoring, and resolution of application-related tickets.
  • Be responsible for proper and updated documentation.
We believe you bring:
  • Relevant degree or equivalent in a related field (SAP Certification).
  • 8-10 years of experience.
  • SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) / BW on HANA (SAP BW/4HANA) experience.
  • Proficient knowledge and hands-on experience with SAP BW/HANA and SAP ERP, SAP BW7.
  • Familiarity with SAP Analytics Cloud, MS PowerBI, and Azure.
  • Analysis for Microsoft Office, knowledge of MS PowerBI and Azure.
Great if you have:
  • Experience with Celonis for process mining solutions.
  • Proficiency in English (spoken and written).
  • Relevant certifications in application management or ITIL.
