Project Manager

Our team in Brazil is growing, we are currently recruiting for a Site Manager to join our Minerals & Metals Business line in the in São Paulo. About the role Manage the main contract and subcontracts, ensuring project execution within defined deadlines, budget, and quality standards. Serve as the primary liaison between the client, the project team, and contractors for scope execution, ensuring expectation alignment and effective communication; Ensure strict compliance with Ausenco's standards of governance and compliance, as well as client and legal requirements, defining control and audit measures Manage risks and changes within the processes under your responsibility; Interact locally and globally with related Ausenco departments to achieve departmental goals; Lead the field team composed of engineers, technicians, planners, procurement, and other professionals, ensuring integration with detailed engineering and corporate processes; Oversee the execution of all processes necessary for project implementation, according to best practices in capital project management, including planning and control, cost, change management, risk, procurement, engineering, physical execution, QA / QC, and commissioning; Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards, acting proactively to mitigate risks; Contribute to defining procurement and subcontracting strategies, in collaboration with corporate departments; Prepare management and progress reports, as well as action plans and reports on deviations and changes; Support the Project Director in overall EPCM management, maintaining constant and transparent communication regarding project progress; Proactively monitor project performance indicators (KPIs), acting diligently to ensure targets are met, and developing action plans in case of deviations. About you Degree in Engineering; Post-graduate / MBA in Project Management desired; Minimum 10 years of experience in implementation of Capital projects; Desired experience in Brownfield and Maintenance; Desired experience in refinery or chemical industry, specially nickel.
