As part of their remote-first tech team, you'll join as a Senior Ruby on Rails Developer and lead feature work that touches both product and platform. What You'll BuildA custom in-house customer service platform A story-based matching feature where users connect through shared fantasies Day-to-Day ResponsibilitiesImplement backend features in Ruby on Rails for both web and mobile Design performant APIs and services that scale Collaborate with frontend and mobile freelancers Refactor legacy logic and improve performance on high-traffic code Drive technical decisions as you grow into deeper ownership Requirements5+ years of professional experience with Ruby on Rails Strong database skills (MySQL, Redis, MongoDB) Solid frontend awareness (React/Vue, HTML/CSS) Collaborative mindset — you'll work with a distributed team Familiarity with mobile ecosystems is a plus Self-sufficient, communicative, and product-aware Nice-to-HaveHotwire, WebRTC, AI/LLM interest Experience with moderation tools, chat/messaging features, or user privacy systems BenefitsFully remote, async culture — work autonomously with no micromanagement Join a senior team with real product vision Trip to Paris after 8 months to meet the team Impact features seen by millions of users #J-18808-Ljbffr
