Leap29 is partnering with a leading international Independent Power Producer (IPP) to drive growth in the Brazilian renewable energy market. The role requires a Business Development expert to identify and develop new opportunities in Power-to-X (PtX) and green hydrogen projects. Job Description The Business Developer will conduct research, evaluate potential projects, assess risk, and develop financial forecasts to guide strategic decisions. They will also collaborate with internal and external teams to align with company goals and leverage existing networks for market intelligence. Key Responsibilities: Conduct market research, regulatory analysis, and economic evaluation to identify viable PtX and green hydrogen opportunities in Brazil. Evaluate potential projects, sites, and partners during the screening phase. Assess project risk and feasibility, and develop preliminary financial forecasts. Collaborate with internal and external teams to assess alignment with company goals. Required Skills and Qualifications: Proven experience in business development for PtX, green hydrogen or related derivatives. Good knowledge of PtX, green hydrogen, and renewable energy markets in Brazil. Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain relationships with local stakeholders in Brazil. Ability to evaluate opportunities and conduct early-stage project analysis. Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to identifying business opportunities. Fluent in Portuguese and English (Spanish would be a plus).
