Technical Partner Product Manager

**_Role Overview:_**:
As part of McAfee, our mission is to secure Consumers leveraging our product and partner platforms. We work with major Service Providers -including Telco Operators, MSOs, Mobile Carriers and other ISPs, Retailers, Marketplaces, and PC Manufacturers to optimize our products for different channels to the needs of our partners and end users.
The Partner Product Manager is responsible for developing and managing technical partner product platforms with our strategic channel partners. This role is expected to effectively serve as both a technical solution expert and a technical implementation lead in the Latin America region. You will report to the regional Director of Channel Product Solution team of McAfee in Latin America.
**About the role**:
To achieve joint partner and McAfee program goals, you as a successful **Technical Partner Product Manager**, you will position and differentiate our solution in the partner context, understand complex technical solution design and integration points and the link between the desired use cases and solution architecture.
- You will contribute to the technical development of McAfee's suite of products to provide value to our partners
- You will focus on technical presentations for customers, partners and prospects to assist with the development of formal sales plans and proposals
- You will conduct remote demos and Partner training
- You will provide solution design and specifications, including providing cost / effort assessment to Sales teams
- You will lead Solution based guide and direction in Pre-Sales and Delivery phase
- You will bring industry knowledge and technology experience to aid in technical selling, explaining features/benefits and design products to meet specific needs
- You will operate as Consumer Security technology expert and thought leader internally and externally
- You will participate and provide consultative support in areas of specialization to other Partner Product Managers
**_ About you: _**
- Fluency in Portuguese and English both written and verbal is a must. Spanish is a nice to have.
- 8+ Years in customer facing role. Communication skills are required to both technical and non-technical audiences that range from engineers to executives
- Excellent written, presentation, analytic, and program management skills
- Good leadership skills and cross discipline skills to work with different team
- Technical background with significant understanding of web technologies, i.e. HTML,.NET, AWS, JavaScript, XML, Phyton
- Proven background in Service Provider, Mobile Operator, Retail/Marketplace or PC/Mobile manufacturer environments preferably with Consumer Products
- Systems knowledge in at least one of the platforms: Windows, Linux, Unix, Android, iOS
- Mobile and web services-based technology knowledge
- Experience with data driven tools such as Power BI, Tableau and other Data Analytical tools
- Proactive attitude and self-motivated to spot opportunities and take ownership and ability to work on own initiative, independently, and within a team
- Nice to haves:_
- Knowledge of L2/L3 topology design and protocol implementations being deployed in ISPs network (Routers, Switches, CPEs, Firewall, IPv4/6, DNS/eDNS, OSPF, BGP, MPLS, PPP, Radius) and IP based services. CCNA or equivalent CCNP/CCSP or equivalent (advantageous)
- Experienced with hands-on IP networking including working with network equipment is a plus (routers, switches, firewalls, DPI devices, network management tools, caching etc.)
- Background of home devices, home routers/gateways and security aspects will be an additional benefit
