The BIM Specialist role generally involves modeling different trades (MEP), depending on your background and the project scope, which may cover specific zones or entire buildings. The work quality will meet client requirements and team services. This position requires a high level of modeling quality, with autonomy in self-management and modeling activities. A BIM Specialist helps clients by detecting potential conflicts during initial information review and the modeling and coordination phases.

Minimum mandatory requirements include:

• An excellent level of English is an absolute must, both spoken and written. Applicants must be able to maintain fluent conversations with both native and non-native speakers. Candidates without this requirement will NOT be considered .
• Solid experience modeling HVAC and plumbing in Revit for commercial, industrial, healthcare, and residential construction. This can include process piping, ductwork and sheet metal, mechanical equipment (pumps, AHUs, RTUs, chillers, boilers), and for plumbing, domestic water, sanitary drainage, gray water, stormwater, medical gases, compressed air lines, pumps, heaters and hangers.
• Experience coordinating or clash-detecting through Navisworks (Revizto can also be considered but Navisworks will be prioritized), knowledge of BIM coordination, clash reports, QAQC, and model accuracy.
• A mechanical or civil engineering bachelor's degree (architects could be considered but only if they have extensive experience modeling and coordinating MEP trades themselves).

Specific requirements will vary depending on the position and service. Experience with Level Of Detail (LOD) 400 and projects based in the US, or constructability knowledge related to that country, will be a huge differential. Other desirable requirements are:

• Familiarity with BIM add-ins (e.g., Evolve, SysQue, Fabrication Parts).
• Experience in conceptual design / BIM Design assist.
• AutoCAD Plant 3D knowledge.
• Dynamo/Python knowledge applied to BIM.
• On-site/field experience.
• Ability to produce detailed models, including real-world fittings and connection types.
