The Program Manager is an Individual Contributor in the Global Operations team. Reporting to the Director, Global Operations, you will be responsible for designing and driving programs for the EMEA and APJ MD Office. This includes supporting the Director, Global Operations, in the planning and implementing of all administrative and operational activities.

Program Manager is responsible for regionally critical projects, strategy and business reviews and programs in support of key management objectives. This role will work collaboratively with the various business units, functional leaders and their team members.
As a Program Manager II, you will be responsible for:
- Managing the flow of business preparation and follow up. This includes strategy & business reviews, regional operating committee meetings, committee meetings.
- Driving projects and programs addressing regional business strategy, annual planning, and on-going operations. This includes One Akamai culture, Region Emerge Committee, and others.
- Driving and maintain the momentum for Akamai CSR initiatives, provide support for ID&E and other corporate social initiatives.
- Conducting effective program management. Diligent planning, scoping, consultation, mediation, and communication as needed across key stakeholders and sponsors.
- Supporting the development and implementation of business continuity frameworks. This includes operational regional risk management framework, regional business continuity planning and emergency response processes.
- Assisting the MD with existing internal communications needs, such as All Hands meetings, employee communications, as well as identifying new communications opportunities
**Do what you love**
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have completed studies in Economics, Finance, Business or equivalent experience
- Have some program and/or project management experience with excellent presentation and communication skills
- Have proven track record of working with cross functional teams in a matrix environment
- Be detail-oriented, highly organized with proven ability to meet deadlines, prioritize workload and manage time effectively
- Be highly organized and motivated with a excellent work ethic for driving programs
- Have experience with writing and editing leadership communications.
