**Job Description Summary**:
**Essential Responsibilities**:
The Draftsman should be able to do basic / detailing design for turbine and generator equipment. He or She will drive technical excellence in the design of the solution applied under their responsibility for new and/or modernization/refurbishment projects.
- Hold ownership of design related documents like component drawings, assembly drawings, BoM, etc.
- Work cross-functionally with quality teams, manufacturing engineers, turbine and generator teams, sourcing, planning, field support and others to improve first time yield.
- Work with design engineers, customers, functional leaders, and manufacturing to meet production and product support requirements.
- Drive resolution of issues arising during design and development.
- Provide timely communications on significant issues or developments.
- Drive best practices across organization - better documenting of parts and assemblies, tracking issues to separate special cause "mistakes" from features needing improvements.
**Qualifications/Requirements**:
- Mechanical Technician;
- Solid Experience in AutoCAD and preferable in NX;
- Experience on developing 3D drawings;
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills;
- Intermediate English verbal and advanced written / reading language skills;
- Ability to work with global team members across cultural boundaries;
- Good experience on basic / detailing design for turbine and generator component
**Desired**:
- Energy Generation experience;
- Knowledge of 3D-CAD tools like Pro-E ;
- Background in mechanical and electrical design;
