Overview Senior Quality Engineer (Cypress) role at Worldly. Join a global squad of quality engineers and partner with cross-functional development teams to design, plan, and implement robust automated test suites for our enterprise platform. Location: LATAM (Remote) or Europe - Balkan Region (Remote). Base pay range: $45,000.00/yr - $60,000.00/yr. Responsibilities Participate in requirements reviews to provide timely and meaningful feedback. Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate automated testing activities. Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases. Apply software engineering best practices to design reusable, maintainable automation frameworks. Translate manual test cases into automation scripts with accuracy and efficiency. Lead by example in writing automation code and mentor teammates in Cypress and automation fundamentals. Deliver workshops, code reviews, and training sessions to help engineers adopt and improve Cypress or other automation frameworks. Execute test cases/automation scripts and document defects thoroughly. Collaborate closely with developers and product managers to ensure new requirements are testable and high quality. Analyze current processes to identify improvement opportunities and advocate for best practices. Qualifications 6+ years of experience building automated tests using Cypress or similar frameworks. 4+ years of experience with JavaScript or TypeScript automation libraries. Proven experience designing scalable test automation frameworks and teaching others to use them effectively. Strong proficiency in building reusable automated test cases and suites for desktop and mobile SaaS products in an agile environment. Experience testing REST-style APIs with automation tools. Skilled at optimizing and refactoring test code for clarity and performance. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; able to train, mentor, and collaborate across teams. Familiarity with Jira and Git or other version control systems. Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
