This range is provided by LawnStarter.Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.Base pay range$45,******/yr - $65,******/yrWorking at LawnStarter offers you a chance to help solve the most important challenges in the marketplace industry in an environment that's fun, collaborative, and innovative.We are looking for smart, creative individuals who are passionate about innovation and aren't afraid to show it.We already have multiple deployments per day and a large suite of tests at all levels of the testing pyramid.Our team is aggressively moving to smaller microservices and serverless architecture.We believe deeply in automating almost everything.In the DevOps culture where ownership is spread through the org, teams are accountable for their own bugs, their own deployments, and their own path to production.Job DescriptionAs a Senior Quality Engineer at LawnStarter, you'll report to the Engineer Manager and you'll be in a hands-on role, responsible for the evaluation and testing of the LawnStarter platform.You will collaborate with software engineers, product managers, and design teams to plan and execute manual and automated tests to ensure quality software is delivered to our customers on a daily basis.This is a contract role.ResponsibilitiesCreate and execute automated and manual test cases and analyze the results with Cypress, Selenium, and/or Appium (React Native) and other programming languagesDesign and execute automated test scriptsPerform exploratory testing of existing applicationsAnalyze and anticipate process optimizations to reduce cost and improve efficiency through the software development cyclePlay a key role in evaluating and documenting departmental processes for efficiency and effectivenessAssume responsibility for quality improvements as they relate to an area within a component or a specific projectRequirementsWe're Looking For You If You're An Experienced Quality Engineer With Automation Experience Who Is Proficient In Delivering Quality Products And Building Tests Within All Levels Of The Pyramid.More Specifically5+ years of quality assurance engineering experience, including test automationProficiency in working on customer centric environment with both manual and automated testingTrack record of proactively understanding the customer journey by analyzing user sessions and identifying trends and bugsComfort in testing both front and backend web servicesSolid knowledge of SQLExperience with Javascript and/or PHP automated testing and experience with automated API testingExperience with security and accessibility testingExperience with scalability testing on cloud platformsStrong competency in testing patternsExpertise testing on various devices, mobile phones, tablets, and desktop computersExcellent written and verbal communication skillsBenefitsFully remote position: Work remotely from anywhere you want.Perks of Working with UsCompetitive contract rateWork from anywhereFlexible hours—get the work done on your scheduleHigh ownership and autonomyFast-moving team that loves to build, learn, and grow$45,000 to $65,000 USD annual salaryLawnStarter is an equal opportunity employer and welcomes diversity in the workplace.#J-*****-Ljbffr
