What this job involves- JLL is seeking a Senior Facilities Manager for a client, a premier financial institution to support retail branch locations in Northern Virginia and Washington DC area. Best candidate would reside in the Arlington, VA for centralized portfolio management. The Senior Facilities Manager will be the single point of contact responsible for assigned sites and provide leadership and direction to highly skilled service providers in delivering services in a Retail environment. This position is responsible for achieving the expected level of service delivery as described in the Service Level Agreements and measured by Key Performance Indicators (KPI). This role will work closely in assisting the Regional Manager and the Corporate Real Estate team with the delivery of quality facility management services. The role is responsible for managing the assigned sites within the account owned and/or occupied portfolio in accordance with the construction requirements of all local, state and federal requirements. The position will be responsible for all line of business and third-party relationships with the assigned buildings.
Responsibilities
- Maintain interface with third party owners (Landlords), ensuring total contract (Lease) compliance, accurate and timely reporting, and resolve critical impact tenant relations issues
- Provide overall facility services in accordance with accounts' standard processes and procedures including application of policies and programs, coordination of information
- Ensure compliance with portfolio wide initiatives and required local, state and federal laws and regulations that pertain to the operating of facilities entrusted to the Facility Partners to manage on behalf of the client as owner
- Develop and maintain positive relationship with Client Branch Managers and Operations teams.
- Primary interface with client representatives. Collaborate to determine client expectations. Ensures delivery of committed services and overall satisfaction with JLL performance.
- Oversee multiple facilities across the region in different functionalities. Portfolio covers the following states: Northern Virginia and Washington DC area.
- Inspect buildings routinely to guarantee that building services are at the highest level of quality standards.
- Conduct Monthly onsite facilities inspections; or more as needed for assigned portfolio approximately 50 - 60 Retail Sites. To include annual capital planning condition assessments.
- Assist Regional Manager with occasional regional inspections at other Mid-Atlantic areas within client portfolio.
- Manage third-party contractors / vendors engaged in operating and maintaining properties.
- Supervise vendor performance during normal and off hours including weekends when necessary
- Support Regional Manager to bid and contract for operational maintenance and project services as needed with a fast market expansion.
- Portfolio realignment may be needed based on client expansion and portfolio management needs.
- Prepare, submit and manage facility budgets with the clients' goals and objectives addressed, track variances and ensure smooth recovery process
- Support prompt collection of management fees and reimbursements from 3rd party tenants occupying space with the accounts' owned premises
- All other duties assigned
Skills/Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering of equivalent combination of experience and education
- Strong leadership and relationship building skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and problem-solving ability
- Excellent verbal/written communication and presentation skills
- Proven record of providing excellent internal and external customer service
- Knowledge of standard business and accounting practices
- Knowledge of Excel and ability to analyze data

Estimated compensation for this position:
110,000.00 – 140,000.00 USD per year
This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
