Our trusted high-growth healthcare technology partner is seeking a talented Senior Backend Engineer (PHP/Laravel) to join their dynamic team. This innovative company is dedicated to revolutionizing the healthcare industry through cutting-edge technology solutions.
Primary Responsibilities- Platform Development: Spearhead the development and optimization of our EHR platform using PHP/Laravel, ensuring high performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Database Development: Create database schemas that represent and support business processes.
- API Development and Integration: Develop and maintain APIs for internal and external use, facilitating seamless integration with other healthcare systems and third-party services.
- Security Compliance: Ensure the platform's compliance with healthcare industry standards, including HIPAA, by implementing and maintaining robust security measures and data protection protocols.
- Backend development, code review, and team collaboration.
- Stay abreast of new technology trends and evaluate their application to continually innovate and enhance the platform.
- Participate in the agile development process, contributing to sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality software.
- Collaborate with the design team to refine the platform's user interface and experience, implementing responsive and intuitive front-end elements when applicable.
- Technical Expertise: Strong proficiency in PHP/Laravel and MySQL. Familiarity with version control tools, preferably Git.
- Experience: At least 5 years of experience in backend development, with a proven track record of developing and maintaining scalable web applications. Experience in the healthcare sector or EHR platforms is highly desirable.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to tackle complex problems, think analytically, and develop innovative solutions.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Attention to Detail: A strong focus on code quality, adherence to design specifications, and a commitment to creating a user-friendly, secure platform.
