Our analysts provide in-depth intelligence and expertise that combined with S&P Global's comprehensive coverage across global markets provides an unmatched level of data, insights, and clarity to our clients to better understand their exposure and opportunities in the region.You will develop a global understanding of food systems, food and agricultural trade, and food marketing; Interact with major international food and agriculture companies; Work with an award-winning price forecasting team and build analytical skills.**The Team**: We are currently looking for an experienced analyst to join S&P Global Commodity Insights’ dynamic Food and Agricultural Commodities team to help develop our coverage of livestock and protein markets. The team is globally focused, monitoring supply conditions and prices for food and agricultural commodities, as well as producing analysis on how factors such as macroeconomic conditions, policy developments, and changing consumer preferences shape the food sector. The F&AC team produces world class analysis, forecasts and data across comprehensive global commodity markets.**Responsibilities and Impact**:Produce written analysis to help customers understand “the story” driving price movements for global food and agricultural commodities, including food ingredients, food chemicals, and other supply chain costs.Contribute to regular reports on pricing developments across food and agricultural commodities, providing a forward-looking view.Prepare ad-hoc research and analysis for customers and present research insights both virtually and in-person as needed.Assist with construction of price forecasting models and interactive data tools to support procurement operations for food retailers and manufacturers.**What We’re Looking For**:**Basic Required Qualifications**:1-2 years of experience is a plus but not required.Prior work experience in the food and/or agriculture sectors preferred.Experience managing large datasets and conducting statistical analysis.Excellent written and spoken English.Strong presentation skills.
