Key job responsibilities
**Primary responsibilities include**:
- Lead short and long-term financial planning
- Develop and report accurate, actionable, and timely financial and business metrics for weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reviews
- Present financial summaries and business insights to senior management, and
- Tighten frameworks for international expansion decision making
This role requires a self-starter with strong modeling skills, a keen attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects effectively. This role also has regular interaction with senior leaders and various business units across Amazon, and therefore requires strong interpersonal and communication skills
- An MBA or MS in Finance, Economics, or a related field
- Ability to dive deep with attention to detail
- Advanced Excel skills
- Excellent attention to detail, self-starter with strong problem solving skills, the ability to deal with ambiguity, and work successfully and effectively on a cross-functional team
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
- Experience with Essbase, Cognos, TM1, and Oracle Financials or similar tools
- Experience with data extraction using SQL or similar tools
