What will you be doing?

The Compliance Specialist will report to the Compliance Manager and focus on merchant onboarding, day-to-day and ongoing documentation for KYC purposes, and other key internal controls as required by the Company.

  • Responsible for the merchant underwriting process, including the collation of KYC documents required as per Company AML/CFT and Onboarding policies
  • Ensure merchant information is kept up to date by conducting ongoing monitoring
  • Manage transaction monitoring for AML issues
  • Conduct periodic reviews as part of the Company’s internal control function
  • Monitor other controls and limits in line with the Group’s Risk Appetite Framework
  • Provide support and maintain relationships with customers, existing or new banking providers, and key partners
  • Perform other administrative and ad-hoc duties as required
What skills do you need?
  • 2+ years of professional experience, including experience in customer onboarding and transaction monitoring
  • Professional, flexible, and highly responsible
  • An understanding of AML / CFT Operations
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Banking, Finance, Law, or similar, or a recognized accounting qualification
  • Fluent English speaker; other relevant languages are a bonus
