Position Overview As an Architect inside the Network Engineering department, you will act as a Solution Architect for new products, services and technologies in 1GLOBAL, acting as a point of contact toward internal and external customers. You will lead the requirements analysis process in close contact with all relevant stakeholders to refine and scope solutions, document and plan implementation, and work closely with Product and Marketing, technical teams and vendors. Key Responsibilities Iterate with customers and stakeholders to determine technical requirements, risks, impacts and recommendations. Design new consumer and corporate telecom solutions. Collaborate with technical teams to define reliable, modular, scalable and customer‑centric solutions and plan and review them. Design and present solutions in documents and workshops, identifying impacts, effort and resources needed. Prospect new solutions through RFI/RFP processes and negotiate with potential suppliers. Follow up on new technology trends in the telecom industry and identify interesting solutions for the product portfolio. Define and follow up the company technological evolution roadmap. Document the existing technology portfolio and recommend improvements or alternatives. Ensure and control quality of documentation execution (HLD, LLD, WO). Ensure implementation quality and understand end‑to‑end system testing requirements. Ensure the network complies with industry standards and regulations. Capacity and performance analysis, reporting and improvement solution definition. Work on complex solutions that influence the design of current products and address design issues for future products or technologies, enhancing, simplifying and optimizing existing applications and processes. Evolve engineering maturity to be on par with the non‑functional and functional state‑of‑the‑art. Communicate transparently to the whole business. Reach out to other teams and work toward alignment and overall continuous improvement. Requirements – Must Have Excellent understanding of Mobile Networks and architectures. Experience with MVNO architecture(s) and landscape; familiar with roaming environment, technical, commercial and regulatory aspects. Solid knowledge of networking principles & protocols, including security. Experience in network protocols like MAP, CAMEL, SIGTRAN, DIAMETER, SIP. Knowledge and experience of OCS and Gy/Sy interfaces. Experience with VoLTE and VoWiFi. Experience with LTE, 5G, IMS, IP technologies and protocols. Familiar with cloud‑based solutions and virtualization technologies. High‑level and low‑level designs; experience developing and presenting internal and external documents. Experience with 5G Core Mobile Networks. Experience with monitoring tools and protocols in Mobile Networks. Anticipates problems and addresses them before they cause impact. Understands how big‑picture goals inform technical details and vice‑versa. Ability to work in complex environments (multi‑cultural/multi‑country/geographically distributed teams). High attention to detail; doesn’t leave things undone. Business oriented; capable to engage and discuss with non‑technical persons to create technical requirements. Excellent communication and presentation skills. English proficiency mandatory; other languages are a plus. Degree in Telecom Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent experience. Requirements – Nice to Have Experience with cloud applications monitoring and analytics is a plus. Experience with AI/ML cloud‑based service assurance is a plus.
