AWS Data Engineer Role As a key player in our organization, you will design, develop, and maintain APIs using AWS API Gateway. This includes implementing integrations with Lambda or Fargate for data ingestion and developing processing pipelines in PySpark (AWS Glue or EMR). You will also be responsible for managing data in S3 and Glue Data Catalog, ensuring data quality and integrity, optimizing pipeline costs and performance, and creating and maintaining technical documentation and development standards. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of cloud-based technologies, particularly AWS, as well as proficiency in programming languages such as Python and Scala. Experience with big data tools like Hadoop, Hive, and Pig is highly desirable. Develop high-quality software applications using AWS services such as API Gateway, Lambda, and S3. Implement data integration and processing pipelines using PySpark, AWS Glue, and EMR. Maintain and optimize existing data pipelines to ensure efficiency and scalability. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes.
