Job OpportunityWe are seeking a highly skilled Data Lead Engineer to lead our team of data engineers in designing, implementing, and optimizing end-to-end data pipelines.The successful candidate will provide technical direction and mentorship to the team, ensuring best practices in coding, architecture, and data operations.They will be responsible for architecting, implementing, and optimizing data warehouses and lakes using Snowflake and Apache Iceberg.The ideal candidate will have strong programming skills in Python, expertise in building and optimizing ETL pipelines, and extensive experience with Snowflake or equivalent data warehouses.Additionally, they should have expertise in orchestration tools like Apache Airflow, deep understanding of messaging queues such as Kafka, and hands-on experience with Apache Iceberg for managing and optimizing data lakes.Key Skills:Strong programming skills in PythonExpertise in building and optimizing ETL pipelinesExtensive experience with Snowflake or equivalent data warehousesExpertise in orchestration tools like Apache AirflowDeep understanding of messaging queues such as KafkaHands-on experience with Apache IcebergBonus Points:Experience with cloud-based platformsKnowledge of data governance and securityFamiliarity with agile development methodologies
