Logistics Strategist

We are seeking a Logistics Strategist to oversee our supply chain operations. This critical role requires end-to-end ownership over global inventory, forecasting, fulfillment, and supplier relationships.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in supply chain management, preferably in e-commerce or Direct-to-Consumer environments.

This is a strategic position that demands strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Managing global inventory levels across multiple channels
  • Owning demand forecasting by leveraging sales history, seasonality, and product launches
  • Preventing overstock and stockouts through data-driven planning

In addition to the technical requirements, we are looking for someone who can work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and maintain a calm demeanor under pressure.

Responsibilities include:

Supply Chain Ownership

• Develop and implement effective inventory management strategies

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless order fulfillment

• Analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement

Fulfillment Optimization

• Optimize order flow from purchase order to delivery

• Coordinate with suppliers and logistics providers to meet Service Level Agreement (SLA) performance

Supplier & Logistics Leadership

• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers

• Oversee freight and logistics operations

Visibility, Dashboards, and Decision Support

• Develop internal dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs)

• Share actionable insights with leadership to inform purchasing and pricing strategies

Strategic Initiatives & Cost Optimization

• Identify cost-saving opportunities across shipping, warehousing, and procurement

• Partner with Finance to align purchasing with cash flow and profitability goals

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. A master's degree or certifications such as APICS or CSCP are highly desirable.
