Possesses a strong understanding of relevant concepts, methods, procedures, and approaches. Focuses on coordinating processes and guaranteeing timely deliveries.As a **Logistics Specialist**, you will be responsible for:- Coordinate import and export processes with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and bonded warehouses, port and airport terminals to ensure flawless execution.- Analyze import/export processes to identify methods for improving efficiency and reducing costs.- Ensure all filings, shipment documents, and regulatory reporting are completed accurately, timely, and in compliance with trade laws.- Develop and monitor customs and logistics performance indicators, seeking opportunities to improve cycle time, lead time, and cost savings.- Identify logistics solutions to guarantee optimal lead time and cost.- Maintain strong interfaces with Tax, Legal, Finance, ITC, Planning, Project Management, Product Lines, and Operations teams.- Support internal clients with import/export operations, special regimes, new projects, bids, tenders, and contracts.- Keep SOPs, RACI, flows, standard Shipping Instructions, and procedures updated.- Review procedures to ensure maximum efficiency and minimum cost.- Monitor shipment flow from origin until to final delivery.**Fuel your passion**To be successful in this role you will:- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration / International Trade / International Relationship / Economy / Accounting / Law / Logistics from an accredited university or college.- Knowledge on International Trade system- Fluent in English and Spanish, desirable- Experience in International Logistics- Have an additional experience in Customs Operations**Desired Characteristics**- Sense of urgency in dealing with issues and tasks- Knowledge on SAP, Oracle, Ecomex- International Logistics experience in O&G industry.- Knowledge in dangerous goods shipments- High energy level- Strong skills in relationship building- Strong oral/interpersonal and written communication skills- Teamwork abilities- Manage of Microsoft Office, Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, relational databases and ERP systems (e.g. SAP)**Work in a way that works for you**We recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone too.
