Regulatory Research Expert Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced Regulatory Research Expert to provide critical support to our Tax and Regulations team. This fully remote role focuses on researching and tracking global trade regulations across LATAM and North America, with a key focus on delivering insights that help keep SAP GTS systems up-to-date for global clients. Monitor and maintain awareness of legislative and regulatory changes in assigned countries using government websites, agencies, third-party sources, and in-country experts. Track global trade compliance regulations, including customs duties, export controls, sanctions, tariff updates, and other relevant requirements across jurisdictions (U.S., Canada, LATAM, etc.). Interpret, analyze, and document new or amended legislation in an internal repository with high accuracy and clarity. Prepare comparative analyses of regulatory changes when required. Ensure research and documentation meet ISO process standards. Key Responsibilities: - Provide in-depth analysis of complex regulatory issues. - Develop and implement effective research methodologies. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business outcomes. Requirements: - 3+ years of experience in regulatory research or a related field. - Strong understanding of international trade regulations. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
