Job Title: IT Infrastructure Support Specialist We are seeking a skilled professional with expertise in end-user support, IT operations, and networking to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the organization's IT infrastructure, ensuring the reliability, security, and scalability of our systems. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to support business operations and ensure the smooth functioning of our technology infrastructure. Deploy, configure, and manage server infrastructure, including physical and virtual servers, storage systems, and backup solutions Collaborate with IT teams to ensure effective planning, implementation, and maintenance of server infrastructure to meet business requirements Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize server infrastructure for performance and scalability Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth IT operations, including user support, system maintenance, and software deployments Develop and maintain documentation, including system configurations, standard operating procedures, and infrastructure diagrams Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements in the design and operation of infrastructure systems Evaluate and recommend new technologies, tools, and processes to improve infrastructure efficiency and reliability Participate in disaster recovery planning, including backup strategies, data replication, and failover procedures Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices related to infrastructure engineering and networking Required Skills and Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you must have: A completed degree in Computer Science or training as an IT Specialist or comparable qualification Several years of proven experience with end-user support, IT infrastructure administration, server infrastructure, IT operations, and networking Strong knowledge of Microsoft tools Experience in SharePoint, Jira, and Confluence tools, operational migrations, backups Proficiency in networking concepts, protocols, and technologies (e.g., TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, switching, firewalls) Familiarity with IT operations management tools and practices, such as monitoring, incident management, and change management Solid understanding of security principles and best practices in infrastructure design and operations Knowledge of cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure) is desirable Analyse and resolve equipment problems: laptops, servers, printers, networks Very good English communication skills Knowledge on CrowdStrike, Manage Engine, Asset Explorer, Intune, Netskope or similar Benefits: This role offers a wide range of benefits, including: Able to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously Structured and having an independent and reliable working style Open-minded with strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams Having excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Be proactive and have good communication Good relationship with colleagues and clients Familiar with GDPR and ISO 27001 rules and guidelines
