Job Summary:

Are you passionate about agriculture and making a difference? We’re looking for a dedicated PDS Specialist to plan, implement, and evaluate development trials in Brazil’s main vegetable producing regions Your efforts will help launch innovative vegetable cultivars that benefit small farmers.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Plan, implement, and evaluate development trials across key vegetable producing areas in Brazil.
  • Get hands-on with sowing, transplanting, harvesting, and trial evaluation.
  • Build a strong network of partner growers to facilitate development trials.
  • Prepare technical justifications for introducing new cultivars.
  • Create and ensure compliance with the annual trial plan .
  • Collaborate with the Brazilian and Global PDS Teams to exchange technical information.

Minimum Requirements (Education, Experience, Skills):

  • Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy or a related field.
  • Over 2 years of experience in the vegetable sector.
  • Proven experience in the installation and evaluation of development trials.
  • Strong technical knowledge in vegetable management (nutritional aspects, diseases, cultural treatments).
  • Willingness to travel frequently to the main vegetable producing regions in Brazil.
  • Availability for in-person work in Bragança Paulista.
  • Knowledge of English is a plus
