To fuel our next stage of growth, we're hiring a Paid Ads Manager to own and scale our multi-channel paid acquisition. Role Overview We're looking for a hands-on, deeply technical, and highly data-driven Paid Ads Manager who will own all paid campaigns across our main platforms: Google Ads Meta Ads (Facebook & Instagram) Bing Ads Snapchat Ads TikTok Ads Reddit Ads LinkedIn Ads X (Twitter) Ads You'll be responsible for planning, launching, optimizing, and scaling campaigns across these channels with clear goals: Hit and improve CAC targets Maintain a strong ROAS Scale spend aggressively where it makes sense Build systems so we can grow consistently This is not a "manage the agency" role. This is a full-ownership, IC role: you will be inside the ad accounts every day. What You'll Do 1. Own Multi-Channel Paid Acquisition Manage and optimize campaigns across Google, Meta, Bing, Snapchat, TikTok, Reddit, LinkedIn, and X Ads. Build campaign structures (search, performance max, display, video, social, retargeting) aligned with growth goals. Maintain a daily pulse on performance: spend, CAC, ROAS, CVR, LTV trends. 2. Hit Targets on CAC, ROAS & Scale Continuously optimize campaigns to drive CAC down while scaling volume up. Proactively identify opportunities to increase budgets where performance is strong. Make clear, data-backed recommendations when to cut, when to push, and when to pause. 3. Attribution, Tracking & Data Integrity Ensure clean, reliable tracking across all platforms. Work with devs on Google Tag Manager, pixels, conversion events, and server-side tracking where relevant. Collaborate on attribution using tools like Hyros, Triple Whale, and platform-level data to make smart decisions. Validate that events are firing correctly and that campaigns are attributed as accurately as possible. 4. Funnel Strategy Design and manage full-funnel paid strategies: Top of funnel: cold audiences who don't know us yet Middle of funnel: users who are aware / engaged but haven't converted Bottom of funnel & remarketing: users who visited, signed up, or engaged with our content but haven't upgraded Match messaging, offers, and creatives to the right stage in the user journey. 5. Creative, Copy & Testing Write and/or improve ad copy for search and social. Collaborate with design and video teams to brief and iterate creatives (hooks, angles, formats). Continuously test: Headlines, descriptions, and CTAs Creatives (images, video, UGC-style, carousels, etc.) Audiences, placements, and bidding strategies Document learnings and scale winning patterns across platforms. 6. Analytics, Reporting & Systems Build clear reporting spreadsheets and dashboards to track: Spend, ROAS CAC by channel, campaign, and funnel stage Trials, and paid conversions Turn data into actionable insights and next steps, not just charts. Create repeatable systems for: New campaign creation Weekly optimization cycles Performance reviews Reporting to leadership 7. Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with: Dev team: to implement and troubleshoot tracking, pixels, and events Design team: to ship high-performing creatives fast Marketing & product teams: to align offers, landing pages, and messaging with user needs Be highly responsive on Slack and proactive in communication. We do daily calls. 8. Innovation & Best Practices Stay ahead of ad platform changes, algorithm shifts, and trends in performance marketing and SaaS user acquisition. Bring new ideas to the table: new channels, new betas, new creative frameworks, new funnel experiments. Turn what works into playbooks and internal best practices. Requirements 5+ years of hands-on, end-to-end experience managing paid ads (strategy, setup, optimization, reporting). Proven experience managing over six-figure monthly ad spend across multiple platforms. Strong background in SaaS user acquisition. Deep experience with Google Ads & SEM (search, PMax, brand & non-brand, keyword strategy, negative keyword structure, etc.). Strong experience with: Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, Reddit, Snapchat, Bing, X Ads. Solid understanding of attribution and experience with tools like Hyros, Triple Whale, or similar. Comfortable working with Google Tag Manager, pixels, and platform-specific tracking setups, in collaboration with devs. Strong data and analytics skills: can read numbers, spot patterns, build basic spreadsheets, and draw conclusions without hand-holding. Demonstrated ability to write effective ad copy and give creative direction for social ads. Proficient with project management and collaboration tools like ClickUp, Google Drive, etc. Excellent organization and communication skills; responds quickly and clearly on Slack. Is available for calls. Fluent in English (written and spoken). Mindset & How You Work We're looking for someone who: Is extremely data-driven. Decisions are made from the numbers. What Success Looks Like CAC and ROAS targets are consistently met and improved across main channels. We have stable, scalable campaigns running across multiple platforms. There's a clear system for: Launching new campaigns Optimizing existing ones Testing creatives, audiences, and funnels Dashboards and reports give us clear visibility into performance. We're seeing measurable growth in users and revenue attributable to paid.
