Cutting Edge Propulsion Systems Designer

Job Description As a propulsion systems designer, you will play a key role in creating cutting-edge solutions for the automotive industry. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with stakeholders from various teams to gather insights into requirements and objectives, leading the development of propulsion solutions, and generating accurate communication and system electrical drawings. Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including electrical and software engineers, to ensure seamless integration of the propulsion systems. Propulsion System Development: Apply advanced engineering principles and methodologies to create reliable, efficient, and high-performance propulsion solutions. Network and Electrical Drawings: Generate comprehensive communication and system electrical drawings for all vehicles and phases. Propulsion System 12V Load Budget: Develop accurate specifications for the 12V load budget deliverable to ensure safe and reliable operation of the electrical system. Required Skills and Qualifications The ideal candidate should have: Bachelor's or master's degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or any other related field. Minimum 5-8 years of experience in electrical/electronics/automotive field. Strong understanding of engineering cost and time implications. Excellent collaboration and communication skills. In-depth knowledge of engineering principles. Analytic mindset and problem-solving abilities. Passion for innovation and drive to contribute to cutting-edge projects. Familiarity with agile-scrum methodology and associated concepts. Sound knowledge of CAN and LIN components (HW/SW). Ability to create logical as well as physical schematics. Experience with Microsoft Visio, Excel, Word, and Power Point. Highly motivated/self starter with proven leadership skills.
