Business Data Analyst Position We are seeking a Business Data Analyst to join our team. As a Business Data Analyst, you will be responsible for working directly with product managers and product owners to gather business requirements and document them. The ideal candidate will have a combination of IT and business experience, with a focus on supply chain. They will also have good knowledge of Power BI, Snowflake, SAP ERP, and SAP HANA, as well as SQL. In this role, you will leverage reporting tools for analysis, such as Office and Power BI. You will also develop roadmaps to drive the company forward and act as a liaison across all areas, including business units, information technology, and outside customers. You will work closely with the Scrum Team and other subject matter experts to refine Product Backlog Items and ensure that the team understands them at the necessary level for estimation and planning during sprint planning. A background in launching software/solutions or services in partnership with business and engineering teams is required. The ideal candidate will also have high proficiency in wireframes, prototyping, iterative development, and understanding of agile principles. They will inspire a team to act as a small business jointly accountable for its product and have experience driving end-to-end delivery of highly innovative products. Outstanding organizational, communication, relationship-building, and collaboration skills are essential. A sharp analytical and problem-solving mind, prioritization and time management skills, understanding of cloud data lakes and data warehouse systems, and familiarity with MS Power BI for business reporting and self-service are also required. Prior experience working for a global, highly matrixed, Consumer Packaged Goods company, preferably in the Supply Chain domains, is preferred. Knowledge of the CPG market, industry trends, and customer needs to inform the product vision and roadmap is also beneficial. The ideal candidate will have experience creating automated data quality management rules. Work with product managers and product owners to gather business requirements and document them.
