Job Title: Manufacturing Engineering Supervisor The role of Manufacturing Engineering Supervisor entails providing leadership to all Engineering teams within the plant. This involves ensuring seamless product launches and maintaining robust high-volume production processes. This position requires functional and disciplinary leadership to manufacturing engineers and process technicians, guaranteeing performance, quality, and continuous improvement across all manufacturing activities. Leadership & Management: Provide direction and guidance to the Manufacturing Engineering teams. Oversee process technicians to ensure alignment with operational excellence goals. Lead decision-making, strategic planning, resource allocation, and budgeting activities. Monitor and control KPIs, define objectives, and ensure effective performance management and staff development. Manufacturing Engineering: Lead Mechanical Engineering teams on topics essential for program success from launch to mass production. Implement and sustain robust, efficient, and safe production processes on the shop floor. Drive continuous improvement initiatives following Mechanical Engineering standards, Lean methods, and EBOS principles. Ensure process performance consistently meets expectations. Engineering Change & Transfers: Manage local Engineering Change Management for product and process modifications to minimize impact on mass production lines. Oversee production transfers to and from the plant to ensure seamless execution. Quality & Customer Requirements: Ensure customer requirements are met, including corrective and preventive actions. Support product design and development activities to ensure compliance with manufacturing standards and process capabilities. Requirements: Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or related fields. Post-graduate degree or MBA in engineering, manufacturing, management, or related areas. Experience & Technical Skills: Strong experience in manufacturing engineering within an industrial environment. Advanced knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement, and mechanical engineering applications in production. Proven experience leading multidisciplinary teams. Experience with engineering change management (product and process). Solid understanding of performance indicators, strategic planning, and budget management.
