The role of a Production Process Specialist is to contribute to the strategic development of production processes, technical requirements definition, and equipment construction oversight.This position requires expertise in technical requirements, project management skills, and hands-on experience with suppliers.The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of design and construction with local and international suppliers.Process DevelopmentAnalyzing existing processes and developing improvements for South American plants, from concept through final validation.Providing technical oversight of design and construction with local and international suppliers.Conducting supplier technical development ensuring compliance with engineering requirements and company standards.Manufacturing OptimizationDefining acquisition and industrialization schedules for tools and equipment.Designing manufacturing processes and production line layouts according to Mechanical Engineering Fundamentals and customer-defined cycle times.Applying Virtual Engineering and Process Development tools including digital planning, simulations of material flow, operators, robots, and forming processes.Quality AssuranceDeveloping and implementing traceability concepts in alignment with IT systems.Collaborating with the Quality team to ensure proper implementation of inspection concepts.Maintaining compliance with Mechanical Engineering standards, Quality Fundamentals, and Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) requirements.Supplier Relationship ManagementCreating specification books detailing technical requirements for standard equipment.Evaluating supplier scouting and creating requirement lists for tools and equipment.Recommending suppliers based on technical requirements, analyses, and delivery capability.SUPPORTING THE APPROVAL PROCESS FOR TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT, INCLUDING INTERFACE WITH PROCUREMENT AND PREPARATION OF PURCHASE REQUESTS.
