Technical Specialist We are seeking a skilled Technical Specialist to join our team. Job Description The Technical Specialist will be responsible for ensuring the timely delivery of programs within established deadlines. Key responsibilities include: Collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement program requests in accordance with product introduction calendars. Conducting analyses of modification, optimization, and line balancing to support Manufacturing Engineers and Supervisors as needed. Managing time variance within +/- 1% of quoted times for SMT programs, adhering to monthly specifications. Maintaining zero discrepancies in processed information delivered to Planning via EDM. Providing training to Manufacturing Engineers on generating process routes in MES QM software. Ensuring backup of all SMT information on Jabil servers according to procedures. Supporting programming efforts for new platforms of SMT equipment, including Fuji and Genesis. Delivering training to manufacturing engineering technicians on Valor software for generating programs and visual aids. Implementing at least one improvement project within the Manufacturing area. Required Skills and Qualifications Successful candidates will possess: Effective communication skills to present information and respond to questions from various stakeholders. Problem-solving abilities, including data collection, fact establishment, and valid conclusion drawing. Proficiency in operating personal computers, including Windows-based operating systems and related software. Advanced PC skills, including training and knowledge of Jabil's software packages. Basic correspondence writing and visual aid reading skills. Ability to apply common sense understanding to perform simple instructions. Standardized situation handling with occasional or no variables. Basic arithmetic operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) and calculation skills. Education and Experience Requirements Applicants should have: At least 1 year of experience in SMT and TH processes, with proficiency in programming SMT/TH equipment.
