About the opportunity: Ruby on Rails or any other ODD language or framework Computer science degree Senior - 5y as a minimum. A solid candidate could be 2 or 3y with experience with Ruby on Rails in operational tasks PostgreSQL Kafka Event Sourcing, QA experience - quality assurance by the developers. Fullstack (70% back + 30% front) US - Atlantic time zone - PST or EST. But a manageable start right away Interview process: AM screening / Panel - full interview - 3 parts (culture, coding exercise, software design exercise) / AM Final interview. Communication, verbal and written - excellent. (English) Responsibilities: Skills/Experience: 3-5+ years of software engineering experience Strong communication skills Understanding of reusable components/building component libraries - Understanding of building production-ready web applications and systems Passionate about testing practices and continuous improvement Experience with any of Elixir, Erlang, Ruby, JavaScript, NextJS , or another programming language - Familiarity with common programming tools such as IDEs, RESTful APIs, Git repositories, TypeScript, version control software, and remote deployment tools - Bachelor of Computer Science degree or equivalent experience Familiarity with event-based architectures, database fundamentals and GraphQL Enthusiasm for solving problems for our users with technology Curiosity about retail/e-commerce, the high-end consignment market, and/or how to create a sustainable, circular economy for luxury goods Avenue Code reinforces its commitment to privacy and to all the principles guaranteed by the most accurate global data protection laws, such as GDPR, LGPD, CCPA and CPRA.
