Backend Technical Leadership Opportunity We are seeking a highly skilled Backend Technical Lead to join our team in São Paulo. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about backend architecture, engineering excellence, and leading impactful projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing backend technical solutions using Java and SpringBoot, with a microservices-based architecture. They will ensure adherence to architectural frameworks, coding standards, and best practices. Additionally, they will implement monitoring, alerts, metrics, and testing strategies to ensure software robustness, security, and performance. This role requires strong leadership skills, including mentoring developers and fostering a high-quality engineering culture. The ideal candidate will have prior experience working at a consulting firm in client-facing projects and a strong focus on Java development. They should also have advanced knowledge of Hexagonal Architecture, Domain-Driven Design (DDD), Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD), Reactive and Functional Programming, and Java 21. Key Responsibilities: Lead the design and implementation of backend technical solutions using Java and SpringBoot. Ensure adherence to architectural frameworks, coding standards, and best practices. Mentor developers and foster a high-quality engineering culture. Implement monitoring, alerts, metrics, and testing strategies to ensure software robustness, security, and performance. Requirements: Mandatory consulting background: prior experience working at a consulting firm in client-facing projects. 6+ years of experience in backend development, with a strong focus on Java. Proven expertise with SpringBoot, SpringCloud, Event-Driven Architecture, Kafka, Redis HA, Exadata, and MQ. Advanced knowledge of Hexagonal Architecture, Domain-Driven Design (DDD), Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD), Reactive and Functional Programming, and Java 21.
