Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Content Strategy & Acquisition Manager to join our team. This role will be responsible for acquiring and managing relationships with content providers, with a focus on securing high-quality FAST (Free Ad-Supported TV) Channels for our OTT streaming apps.

Key Responsibilities:

1.Identify and target potential content partners, including media companies, broadcasters, and content aggregators, to acquire premium FAST Channels for our platform.

2.Negotiate licensing agreements and contracts with content providers, ensuring favorable terms and conditions for both parties.

3.Collaborate with internal teams, including content operations, legal, and finance, to ensure seamless integration of acquired content onto our platform.

4.Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing content partners, serving as the primary point of contact for ongoing communication and support.

5.Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities related to FAST Channels and OTT streaming, and leverage this knowledge to drive strategic decision-making.

6.Track and analyze key performance metrics, such as viewership, engagement, and revenue, to evaluate the success of acquired content and identify opportunities for optimization and growth.

7.Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to network with potential partners and promote our platform's content offerings.

8.Creating a content strategy for TCL streaming service on smart TV involves determining the type of content to be offered and the target audience.

Qualifications:

1.Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or related field; MBA or equivalent preferred.

2.Proven track record of success in content acquisition and business development roles within the media, entertainment, or technology industry, with a focus on OTT streaming and FAST Channels.

3.Strong negotiation skills and experience in structuring complex licensing agreements and contracts.

4.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.

5.Strategic thinker with a proactive and results-oriented mindset, capable of identifying and pursuing opportunities for business growth.

6.Knowledge of the OTT streaming landscape, including industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive dynamics.

7.Familiarity with content distribution platforms, content management systems, and digital rights management solutions.

8.Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
