Our operations will soon expand from Sao Paulo to cities across Brazil, Mexico, and Colombia, proving that real climate impact and transformative business models can be built first where the need is greatest. About the Role As Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the reliability, efficiency, and scalability of Vammo's battery swapping network — the heart of our customer experience. You will oversee 24/7 operations across hundreds of swap stations, leading teams that keep our infrastructure, field logistics, and data systems running at scale. This is not a back-office role: it's hands-on, mission-critical, and fundamental to shaping how Latin America moves. Responsibilities Lead and guide our LiveOps, Field Operations, and Infrastructure teams, building a culture of urgency, accountability, and data-driven problem solving. Map, design, and scale operational processes to reduce costs, increase efficiency, and prepare for 10x growth. Be responsible for the network's uptime, reliability, and incident response, ensuring riders always have batteries available. Define and track core KPIs (uptime, SLAs, maintenance cost, SOC, CSAT) using dashboards and data analysis. Build proactive Customer Experience (CX) processes to communicate downtime and protect our NPS. Serve as the operational voice for Product and Engineering teams, providing real-world feedback for hardware and software design. Guide network expansion decisions (site selection, installation, and launch playbooks). Act as the final escalation point for critical incidents, lead post-mortems, and prevent recurrence. Requirements +5-8 years experience in managing physical operations, field services, logistics, or technical infrastructure, Strong people leadership; ability to motivate diverse, field-based teams. Data-driven decision-making, with experience using analytics tools (Metabase, Tableau, etc.). Skill in process design, optimization, and creation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Ability to solve problems calmly and decisively under pressure. Pragmatic "owner" mindset (extreme ownership) — equally comfortable in the field and in strategic discussions. Excellent communication skills, able to align technology teams, executives, and field personnel. Technical curiosity — an engineer or operator at heart — with a drive to understand how systems, hardware, and data really work. Bonus Points if You Have: Experience in high-growth startups. Background in mobility, energy, logistics, IoT, or telecommunications. Experience managing 24/7 mission-critical systems. Familiarity with hardware operations, maintenance cycles, or supply chain management. Basic SQL knowledge for independent analysis.
