Job Title: Experienced System Level Engineer Job Description Luxoft is a leading provider of lithography systems for the semiconductor industry, manufacturing complex machines that are critical to the production of integrated circuits or chips. The role involves defining system level specifications of different functions such as functionality, algorithms, performance, and reliability. Troubleshooting issues within the factory or at customer sites is also a key responsibility. Investigating failure modes of the system and identifying containment strategies to buy time to find the root cause of a problem is another essential task. Performing feasibility studies into required improvements through experiments, simulation, and analysis of existing customer data is crucial. Enabling the realization of new functionality by interacting with specialist software designers in the project team is also an important aspect of this role. Integrating and testing the function against the specification is a key deliverable. Required Skills and Qualifications Mandatory skills description: 3-5 years of experience in functional specification and integration. Experience with data analysis and modeling preferably using MATLAB or Python. Ability to design algorithms and functional models breaking down large problems into manageable components. Knowledge about the software development process. Experience working in Agile environments. Model-driven engineering or modeling expertise.
