Role Description We’re looking for a PE Deal Origination Associate with a sharp mind, strong communication skills, and the drive to turn conversations into real deals. This is a full-time, front-line role for someone exceptional at cold outreach, confident presenting to executives, and energized by building pipeline from scratch. You’ll be on the front lines of growth—initiating conversations, building relationships with business owners, and helping convert opportunities into closed transactions across Caprae’s platform and portfolio. This is not a passive sales or research role. You’ll learn how private equity actually works by doing it. Responsibilites Conduct high-volume, high-quality cold outreach (up to ~20 hours per week) Book meetings with founders, CEOs, and business owners across industries Support and, over time, lead sales and deal conversations Help craft and deliver compelling narratives around Caprae’s offerings Work closely with senior leadership to prioritize and pursue high-value opportunities Track, manage, and report on outreach pipeline, meetings, and conversion metrics Assist in select account management and client success conversations post-close Contribute to brand positioning, investor relations, and PR initiatives as needed What we look for Strong cold-calling and outbound communication skills— clear, confident, and concise Comfortable presenting to senior stakeholders and building rapport quickly Highly motivated, autonomous, and performance-driven Excellent written and verbal communication Comfortable operating in fast-moving, ambiguous environments Strong interest in entrepreneurship, private equity, or finance Finance education strongly preferred Must be strong with numbers —this is not a fluff role Culture Fit We strongly prefer recent graduates or early-career candidates . This role is ideal for smart, hungry, coachable people who want to learn private equity from the ground up . Traditional finance experience is not required - and in some cases, too much institutional experience (investment banking, rigid PE or sales orgs) can be a downside due to baked-in habits.
