Key Responsibilities :

  • Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub, ensuring efficient and reliable software delivery.
  • Advocate and enforce secure coding practices, integrating tools such as SonarQube, Fortify, and Nexus IQ for code quality and security.
  • Mentor and guide a team of developers, ensuring high standards of code quality and best practices.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation to support development and operational activities.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software that meets business requirements.
  • Drive technical innovation and efficiency within the team, advocating for modern technologies and methodologies.
  • Manage the full software development lifecycle, from concept through to deployment and maintenance.
  • Perform code reviews, conduct technical discussions, and support agile methodologies.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders and team members in both English and Portuguese.

Required Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 6 years of professional experience in software development, with a focus on Java and cloud technologies.
  • Proven experience with Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture.
  • Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including Cloud Functions, Dataflow, Firestore, and Pub/Sub.
  • Proficiency in CI/CD practices and tools, particularly Jenkins and GitHub.
  • Strong understanding of secure coding practices and experience with tools like SonarQube, Fortify, and Nexus IQ.
  • Expertise in writing unit tests using JUnit and Mockito.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor a team of developers.
