Practical knowledge of AWS CloudWatch, specifically with logs, metrics, and alarms, is essential for this role. A strong foundation in AWS services, including EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, ECS/EKS, is necessary for sourcing metric data. Proficiency in SQL or PromQL is required for crafting Grafana queries that deliver insights and value. A proven track record in monitoring and observability pipeline management is crucial for this position. Advanced English language skills are mandatory for effective communication and collaboration. Key Responsibilities: Configure and integrate AWS CloudWatch metrics seamlessly with Grafana to drive actionable insights. Design and maintain comprehensive observability dashboards that provide real-time visibility to engineering teams. Develop and implement sophisticated alarm systems, notifications, and performance KPIs to ensure proactive issue resolution. Collaborate closely with DevOps, SRE, and Data Engineering teams to foster a culture of environment awareness and visibility. Establish and document observability standards and best practices to drive consistency and excellence throughout the organization.
