Job Overview: We're seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Automation Engineer to design, develop and maintain automated test frameworks and test suites using Java. This role involves building and executing UI, API, and integration tests across web and backend systems. The ideal candidate will partner with engineering teams to integrate automated tests into CI/CD workflows. Key responsibilities include writing clear, maintainable test scripts and ensuring robust regression coverage. Additionally, the successful candidate will identify, log, and track defects while validating fixes. They will also help define and continuously improve QA processes, tooling, and automation architecture. Responsibilities include creating reliable test data, mocks, and stubs to support automation scenarios. Finally, the candidate will participate in peer code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices. Requirements: Strong proficiency in Java for automation scripting is required. Solid experience with major Java automation frameworks such as Selenium WebDriver, RestAssured, TestNG, JUnit, Cucumber, etc. is necessary. Experience with API automation and microservices test strategies is highly valued. Working knowledge of modern CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, CircleCI is desired. Familiarity with SQL and basic database testing concepts is expected. Experience testing front-end applications (React, Angular, Vue) and backend services is preferred. Understanding of QA methodologies, Agile development, and SDLC best practices is essential. Experience with version control (Git) is necessary.
